The Google Score Calculator Has a New Version. Here's What Changed

29 September 2026 · Bizdify

The Google Score Calculator has been the most-used tool on our site for years, and it has always had one weakness: you had to count your own reviews. Open your profile, tally the one-stars, tally the twos, type them in. Most people guessed.

The new version, live now at score.bizdify.com, removes that step entirely, and adds a few things the old one couldn't do.

It Finds Your Business

Start typing your business name and the calculator looks it up on Google for you. Pick the right listing from the results and you're done. No copying links, no hunting for a profile ID.

It Loads Your Reviews Automatically

Once your listing is selected, the calculator pulls in your current rating and the number of reviews at each star level. The calculator shows this as a bar chart, one bar per star level, with the counts exactly as Google has them today. What you see is your real starting point, not an estimate.

It Shows What Removal Would Actually Do

This is the part that hasn't changed in spirit, only in accuracy. Use the counters to mark the reviews you'd want gone and the rating recalculates immediately. The hatched section of each bar shows which reviews you've marked, and the panel at the top shows the before and after.

Say a business sitting at 4.1 marks twelve one-star reviews for removal: the calculator shows 4.4. That's arithmetic, not a promise. Whether those twelve reviews can be removed depends on whether each one breaks a Google policy, which is a separate question and the one our Google reviews removal work answers. The calculator tells you whether the outcome would be worth pursuing.

It Offers a Free Reputation Revenue Report

The old tool gave you a number and nothing else. The new one goes a step further. Enter your email and your industry, and our team will personally check your listing for reviews that plausibly breach Google's policies and could be removed, then send you what we found, along with an estimate of what that change would be worth to your revenue.

The revenue figure is an estimate drawn from published research on ratings and sales (the source and its limits are set out on the calculator page itself), not a forecast for your business. The review check is the useful part: it's a real person's opinion on whether you have a case, and it's free.

It's Simply Nicer to Use

The layout has been rebuilt from scratch: one screen, clear before-and-after panels, counters instead of text boxes, and it works properly on a phone. If you used the old version, you'll notice the difference in the first ten seconds.

A Note on the Old Link

The calculator used to live at bizdify.com/google-score-calculator. That address now sends you straight to the new tool, so any bookmark or link you have still works.

We wrote about how to read the calculator's results back when the first version launched, in Navigating the Impact of Reviews with the Bizdify Calculator, and the advice there still holds. You can find the calculator alongside our other free tools on the tools page.

Final Takeaway

Find your business, see your real numbers, mark the reviews that concern you, and see what removing them would do. It takes about a minute, and it's the fastest way to work out whether review removal is worth a conversation.
